Presentation of "Styling Landscape" at Floralia. This international event brings together decorative plant producers and renowned landscapists and designers. "Styling Landscape" is held in Pistoia, Italy, from 28th June through 1st July, with a programme of events in Celle Farm, City Hall and Bolognini Theatre. "Styling Landscape" is organized by Pistoia Province and the Pistoia and Pescia Bank Foundation with the collaboration of Pistoia Municipality and other partners.

Viveros Villanueva, Jardinería Villanueva and Viveros Pla del Pou, were awarded the Floralía 2007 Gold Medal in the category of Best National Presentation. Asproga Galicia won the Silver Medal and Construcciones Nagares together with Viveros Levante won the Bronze Medal.

FLORALÍA, the huge exhibition of ornamental flowers and plants which is to take place at  Feria Valencia between 3 and 11 March 2007, will host the GEA XXI Conference entitled the International Conference on Landscaping, Territory and Development as one of its events. This forum of meetings and debates on landscaping, sustainable development and the research and business activity has already closed its programme of conferences, which counts on a number of experts on the themes that the Conference is to cover.

The Organising Committee of FLORALÍA, which met on Thursday 18 January, has agreed to extend the delivery deadline date of the summaries of papers for the 21 GEA Conference on Landscaping, Territory and Development. The new deadline date is Friday 9 February 2007. This extra week added to the former deadline date is to help enable those people interested in participating in the Conference with their paper to prepare their texts.

FLORALIA has redistributed some of its areas with the goal of better structuring the exhibition and making visits easier and more comfortable.

The plant and flower workshops, the sales area plus restaurants and catering services, all previously located in the plaza outside the Events Centre and Centre Forum, are now on Level 2 in Pavilion 1 at Feria Valencia. This increases the overall extension of FLORALIA, and provides these services with a better opportunity for optimum impact, leaving the outside plaza exclusively for floral exhibitions.

FLORALIA announces its new rates for businesses wishing to take a stand in the area set aside for sales to the general public. The price per square metre is 50 euros, plus an extra 30 euros if you wish to contract a turnkey stand.

In November, a delegation of FLORALÍA visited the International Mosaicultures horticultural exhibition of Shanghai 2006, in which Valencia participated along with representatives from another 14 countries from around the world. The project of the Valencia exhibitor was awarded the Silver medal for Excellence.
